Announcement Ending 05/02

Thanks for posting... I was giving up on checking for today since it's taking most people more than a day lol... but mine is there too - 91.5 :nana2:
Congatulations, now we just have to wait some more. I know that the last testing day for our group is Friday, but any idea when we might get our Geo Pref. email.

FEBOTS finished testing on 4/30 and got the email on 5/2... so we can cross our fingers for sometime next week... hopefully...

Man that would be great. I know you keep up with this stuff, so if everything goes as planned, when do you expect our PEPC dates to be, and then OKC class dates to be?

I think you're expecting too much from me ;)

Let's see... They were put on referral lists on 6/6, so that would put us sometime towards the end of August for that... PEPC invites went out at the end of June(I think?) so mid September for us... PEPCs in October maybe? OKC dates... whenever they have them available... some FEBOTS can't start class until October, so I don't know what they'll do for us...

Edit: It also depends on when we have hiring panels meeting... the ones considering PUBNAT1 applicants were 6/9-6/10 I believe... we've been hearing Sept/Oct for us though, so it can be very different from what I'm posting...

Thank you for the information, very helpful and good luck to us all, especially with the patience part of it.

Got my AT-SAT score today, 88.3. I was hoping for a 90+, but anything in the "Well Qualified" group is good enough for me. From reading others' posts, it doesn't look like I've got anything to worry about as far as being selected...I hope!

How was the personality portion of the test? How can you possibly check off mostly true or mostly false as an answer, as well as neither true nor false. Isn't that not answering the question! Also if some thing is mostly false that means it could be true as well as vice versa dunno seems pretty odd.

Some things (for me at least) weren't totally true... I guess an example would be something like "People at work are aware when you are in a bad mood"... for me, I said mostly false for that... I don't let it affect how I do things or how I treat people, but obviously some people would know (the ones I talk to more often) and some wouldn't, so I couldn't say it's totally false. Things like that made it hard to give a definite true or false... maybe I overthought it all though :panic:

How the heck are all of you Holtsville people getting your scores? I took mine last week and it's still not on the site

I don't know... I didn't expect to have mine until later this week. It's on the first page of ASAP, right above where it says I was authorized to take the test... and it's under User Information and then Test Information. Just making sure you're looking in the right place.

I did see someone who took it on 7/7 in NY and just got the score yesterday, so maybe you do just have to wait a bit longer for whatever reason.

Sadly, all mine shows is:

Just a little something I remembered from my past... because (I can't believe I'm saying this in public) ... I was once denied a position at home depot because I failed a personality test. *pause for laughter*

I was told that these generic personality tests throw a red flag if you answer "definitely true" or "completely false" for each answer. Such as, "I never make mistakes" - "definitely true" as opposed to "mostly true" crosses that fine line from confident to arrogant. Whatever amount of truthfulness is in this, I can't be certain, but I'd agree with it if I were writing the test!

Just a rule of thumb I read and followed - be 100% honest. If your high school math teachers would call you an "average student," don't boast that you took stats in fourth grade, etc. The personality part seemed to be the worst, because by the time it rolls around, you're ready to go home... I know I was, I had a 6 hour drive back! :)

Does anyone know what states are in the most need for trainees, b/c i am hoping Geo Prefs. are coming out next week, and i am not very picky about where i want to be, i just want the job. I have seen on another thread where one of the FEBOTS scored a 100 on the AT-SAT, picked GA and TX for there prefs. and did not get selected. Any information would be very helpful. (please don't tell me Guam and Alaska:banghead:)
