Announcement Ending 05/02

Nothing for FTW yet either....I've been off work for the last 1 1/2 weeks, sitting on my email and I agree, it's nervewracking!

Lucky! LOL J/K....I just wish being in FTW didn't keep me stuck at the testing up here. I'd rather just fly down to Houston and take it there....but, good things come to those who wait, right?

Taking my test July 9, 2008, in Peachtree City! Looks like the test dates offered are b/w July 7 and the 18th. Woo Hoo.:nana2:

Just received my e-mail as well and am scheduled to take the test In Peachtree City on the 15th of July.

Hello, all. New guy to the site here, as well. I applied for the 5/2 closing around mid-April, and just received my e-mail on 6/10 (I'm testing in Oklahoma City 7/2).

If anyone has taken the AT-SAT - or understands what to expect - I would sure appreciate the big "heads up" links and/or directions. I've already downloaded the math prep (very useful), but I'd like to know the little details, such as any items I should bring, if I should dress comfortably or professionally, etc.

Any relevant information that can be crammed into my head over the next two weeks would be great, I just discovered these forums last weekend.

Again, nice "meeting" everyone!

I found this a couple of weeks ago by just doing a google search...http://www.atccti.com/atsat.html

There is a book out there called Air Traffic Control Career Prep: A Comprehensive guide to one of the best paying federal government careers, including test preparation for the initial ATC exams. (Air Traffic Control Prep).
This is the book that I got to help me study for the AT-SAT. The test CD helps but is not like the actuall tests. I have included a link to the forum here about the green book and CD there are some helpful hints in the forum. Good luck with your test.

Well I've been away from here for a while but called about a week ago for test date will be July 8th Holtsville,NY. I am deff. staying overnight at the hotel but not sure if im going to take the port jeff ferry there or fly myself the night before from KBDR (the whole 19 NM flight).

I will be taking the AT-SAT on July 15th in Peachtree City as well. I'm going to get a flight in the day before so I can go tour the facilities at ATL just for the fun of it. I have no desire to work there, starting off at least, but I am pumped to see it all in person. I will probably be staying at the Wyndham the night before, so whoever is going, we should meet up or something. Lucky for me, that will be the start of a short vacation as I will catch a flight out of ATL as soon as I can after the test to Valdosta to meet up with a friend and head to the beach. Woo Hoo!!
Good luck all.

For those of you who have already taken the AT-SAT, what is the general attire at the testing? Is it business casual or jeans and a t-shirt?

I saw different attire when I was there, but I wore nice khakis and a polo shirt. They do video tape the tests.

Got my e-mail this morning while I was sleeping in JFK and just talked to Vicki and scheduled my test for the 15th of July at The Courtyard by Marriot/Arlingon-Ballpark.

Tick-tock, tick-tock....hit the books everybody!
