Not really.

How senior is PHX? Do positions opent up here very often. I see their planes all the time here at sky harbor, mostly turbine. I actually havn't even seen a piston at all.
When I get to 1200, I plan on applying, and would prefer to stay here. (of course I will relocate if needed)
There are a couple of Chieftain runs in Phoenix. Takes awhile to upgrade to Turbine aircraft though. You can get hired into Phoenix on the Chieftain if a spot is available. Best thing to do is call the Phoenix ACP when you get your hours.
Just called and got told that they want to see 1,200 hours for EMB-120 FO spots.
Too bad nobody with 1200 hrs. wants an EMB F/O spot.
Here would be a possible progression, assuming you were to stay at AMF for several years, according to my interview:
EMB-120 FO until 1200 -> Beech 99 until 20XXTT -> Metro until 3000TT -> EMB-120 PIC
What? Don't tell me you're seeing the light at the end of the CFI tunnel!
My understanding was 1800TT/300ME to get into the B99 and like 2500TT/1000ME/750Turbine to get into the Metro. This coming from a Metro captain on another site.
If you came in, lets say with 2000TT, 700 Multi turbine PIC, and got hired into the BRO right seat.....
How much flying does the bro get? 1000 per year? What i'm trying to figure out is how long it would take to upgrade to left seat if you came in with those times above. I mean, is there much movement in the bro?
The reason I ask about the above scenario, is that I'm short on crosscoutnry time...I dont think I will have 500 cross coutnry by december (when I graduate)....so right seat in the bro might be an option....then move up after a year or 1.5 years or so.
Sound doable?
Also...cant seem to find any past threads on what the bro bases are? Are there any Bro's in SLC?
Just my opinion, but don't go to AMF to be an EMB captain. And if you do end up flying the EMB don't get your hopes up for an upgrade anytime soon. If all you've done at the company is EMB fo and the captain leaves theres a great chance the upgrade will go to a metro/1900 captain or previous EMB FO.
Your 1.5-2yrs is very optimistic for upgrading in the bro; I would not plan on any less than 3 if you are dead set on it.
