Hottie,

Thanks for the reply.

Hrmm 500 per year. So thats 1.5 - 2 years before I reach 3000TT.

I wonder how flexible those times are....if in 6 months, or so, my captain moved on...would they upgrade a 2400 hr pilot or bring someone else in i wonder...

So, EMB120 in PR, CA,
....?

From my experience and from what I have seen....almost everything at AMF is dynamic and flexible depending on the situation. Just by looking at the company handbook's stated requirements for every airframe, I can say that they have ALL been broken so I don't see why it would be any different for the Bro captain. You probably need a certain number of hours in the airframe but after a year you'd have that and if you are good stuff they normally will type a higher time fo so he is a backup reserve captain.

Dude- what the heck do you know about the bro at AMF. Please, save your comments for someone in the know.

HAHA! Now that is funny stuff huh Ed. :yeahthat:, take your own advice dude.

It's true, good oportunity in the Bro if you could get in the door into it with less than 135 mins, spend a year and then pull strings to get into the 99. You could spend 3 years as an FO in the bro, then if a metro captain who holds seniority wants to go from metro captain to bro captain it can happen.

You'll have to excuse B-rizzle... he's a little slow on the sarcasm stuff. ;):D

I am not slow on the uptake on this sarcasm thing you thou speak about. I have a perfect repertoire (you like that, I used a big word) of sarcastic comebacks, like this one….. You can't fly a paper airplane.... lol

:insane: :sarcasm: :nana2:

I think we can let it slide for the 5 post wonder boy. This time.

Thanks Dawg! If I keep this up I might get to 10 by the end of the year. After that I can make a run at ESF's record, but of course it helps that he doesn't have anything at home to do but this. Hey isn't it about time to get off the floor and back to sitting on your safe?

I don't have internet at home. The people next door that were kind enough to not put a password on their wireless thingy moved out.

I might buy a bed soon. Not sure though, it's so easy to get up at 4am when you've been sacked out on the floor all night. Once you wake up, you want nothing more than to get up and go to work. Besides, I've been doing it for over a year now... I'm used to it. AND, it's good for your back (I think). Beds are overrated.

sweet what plane were you given?
Im leaving st. george sunday afternoon I have plenty of seats if anyone needs a ride down

Plus, sleeping on the floor all the time prepares you for the night you stay out too late at the Bar and pass out on the steps to the temple on the walk home right? Better sleep that way, plus if the floor is good on your back I bet that sleeping on the concrete at a holy place would do wonders. :nana2:

Yes I walked out on chartran. But they never really started ground school in the three days I was there. I interviewed with Joni a couple of weeks ago. I applied for SLC but knew that with low multi I wouldn't get it. I was offered chieftan in BUR, PDX, or OAK. I took BUR. My sim ride was tough, it was in the cheiftan. I was very nervous hadn't touched a sim for two years and a twin for 2 1/2 years and the CP Sean was giving me the sim eval. Really blew the first app and went missed pulled it back together and did ok on the second one. They called me two hours later and asked me to attend ground school.

Hey JayAre, did you do your training in SGU?
If you stay long enough and get SLC, then you can always have the SGU outstation!
