There are 25 left and no Navajo -310's left. That I don't know of, but I remember them not having tons of PA31s left.
PHX and PDX both still have a sizable PA-31 presence, but ABQ is the largest base for it.The only reason ABQ is staffed is because that's really the only major piston base left. Everywhere else is all turbine so those will be more revolving doors.
In fact, PHX is supposedly in major need of PA-31 guys. The two that were in my class didn't pass training and there's only one in this last class out of 5(?) that are going there, so I wouldn't be suprised if one of us has to TDY there for a bit if they're really as short as I've heard.I didn't think the other bases had a bunch. Interesting.
5 PA-31 guys. There's a lot more direct hiring into the Turbine stuff these days than before. In my new hire class of 10, 4 of us were PA-31 guys.Only 5 total in the new hire class? Seems small.

I parked one of the most hated Hoes back in 2011 when they were mercifully retiring them from the fleet.
N199DS... I can still smell the avgas fumes in the cockpit...
Wonder if that's the bird that the cockpit window wouldn't latch and when I called dispatch to say we can't fly they were like TS. No rental cars available and they weren't going to spring for a hotel.I parked one of the most hated Hoes back in 2011 when they were mercifully retiring them from the fleet.
