This is a brand new run. It will be going from DFW to San Bernardino starting Monday. 06/08/15

Didn't know that DFW was considered SW region. If so, glad that you guys are getting new biz. Hope you find the people to staff it internally. I know I was quite bummed when they offered a street hire a 1900 CA slot only to have him flatly reject it. This after 2 internal upgrades failed their upgrade rides. The 1900 to Bro swap is absolutely true, and that route is definitely in the SW region.

I know that it isn't you who would post negative things about me, or not believe me. There is one very highlighted example of that occurring within this thread. And, interestingly, it turns out that a mutual acquaintance called me on the phone to relay some interesting, albeit completely erroneous fodder that others have had to say about my departure from the organization.

I know who that was, and I was the one who told him to talk to you to get the real deal scoop.

I don't know you personally enough to tell anyone bad things or spread rumors. But when I heard that a certain company executive was saying things that sounded typical (for him) and crazy, I wanted to make sure he heard it from the horses mouth. I gave him a really good rundown as well, let's just say after talking to you and I he was very very shocked.

Yep. We're on the same page.

I have had a couple of friends outside of AMF, receive calls from AMF offering them the Bro CA position...

I did a phone interview on Friday morning for a Brasilia CA spot in Dallas. I thought the interview went well but after reading through this thread, it sounds like an internal applicant would be the most deserving and obvious choice for this position. I certainly don't want to step on anyone's toes, the job was attractive to me because of its location and a more predictable schedule than what I currently have.

Don't let that be a reason to not accept the job. Take the job. It isn't your fault there is an external posting.

Thanks Inverted, I appreciate the reply! AMF HR actually called me about an hour ago to let me know they were going to go with someone with EMB-120 experience but they would keep me in mind for other positions. I'm really glad they called to let me know instead of leaving me hanging. Very professional in my opinion. Good luck to whoever gets the job!

Then they wouldn't have put an outside bid out. Nobody in DFW wants a Bro CA spot?
Couldn't tell you. It seems like a crapola schedule for that run. I don't know if I'd take it if it's what I think it's gonna be.

At any rate, there's been outside job postings for quite awhile now that have usually been filled internally.
