False. Bid out stations, transfer bases... It's not hard. Just may take some time.

I can think off hand in the past year, a dozen have done it.

Same here. I pushed for Portland, but not surprisingly, it filled up fast, and I was left with Oakland. That's okay though, my twin time is so low, I'll need at least 6 months in a Chieftain before I meet minimums to upgrade anyway. Possibly more. I've been talking with some guys out of BUR, and the new base opening in Buffalo should create some openings at other bases as pilots move up into some 99 slots in Buffalo.
