What was the makeup of the last class?
I meet all the qualifications and mine says "new application" as well so idkMine says "new application" for now and the last few hours....... aviation degree/work for an airline/ I did put "no" on the dispatch/flight keys experience
Did you select that you have FlightKeys experience? Right now not having FlightKeys experience is kind of a disqualifier.I applied and right after, on the candidate profile, it says not selected (this is where you're looking at your applications). Is that normal?
Right now it's all about FlightKeys experience.I have dispatch experience, and my co worker does as well, even with all the correct answers selected we both got “Not Selected.”
The AI is looking for something super specific I guess….
But it says dispatch and/or flight keys experience so the no flight keys itself shouldn’t be the disqualifier no? Because I don’t have flight keys and I didn’t get rejected.Did you select that you have FlightKeys experience? Right now not having FlightKeys experience is kind of a disqualifier.
An AA dispatch trainer just told me that they are pretty much only looking for FlightKeys experience and will likely make it an Envoy heavy new hire group since Envoy are the experts in FlightKeys. So take that for what you will. Good luck!!But it says dispatch and/or flight keys experience so the no flight keys itself shouldn’t be the disqualifier no? July 7 class (Last class)What was the makeup of the last class?
Those kind of numbers do make me wonder how many Envoy has left at the moment with the experience/education requirements and any appreciable amount of time there to get the flight keys experience if AA already took 18 this year.July 7 class (Last class)
11-Envoy
1- AA internal
Feb 3 class
7-Envoy
3-AA internal
1-JetBlue
1-PSA
1-Sky West
Good luck!!
The class that was hired for AA (4 classes back to be specific staring Sept. 2024) was 10 dispatchers - all Envoy people. There was a variety of experience among them. AA doesn't enforce the experience thing except at the time of application. AA's system that scans applications is programmed to auto decline applications that say that they don't have the required experience. There are people that get hired after a brief stop over at Envoy because they are related to an AA dispatcher. There was someone a few classes back that was hired 1 week or 2 out of ground school but their dad was an AA dispatcher. So... your experience isn't necessarily a deal breaker. Everyone's journey to the big show is different. Those kind of numbers do make me wonder how many Envoy has left at the moment with the experience/education requirements and any appreciable amount of time there to get the flight keys experience if AA already took 18 this year.
