That's why I was assuming they would need more. Maybe it has something to do with the negations.

The major retirement figures at AA start in 2018 (as well as Delta if memory serves me correctly) and who knows what the hiring picture will be like after that.

Yeah. Like my running theory goes, Horton wants to tank the merger. Posting overly healthy recruiting quotas would tip his hand.

Did you see he wants to do profit sharing? He's trying to buy back labor.

It would certainly be convenient. That said, I think their model is jacked up. To make the candidates pay to apply for jobs is outrageous.
