This thread reminds me of an ORD-SFO flight on Frontier in the exit row, which is "stretch seating" and costs extra. There is no one in the aisle seat when we take off, and no one in the exit row across from me. A man asks to sit in the aisle across, and the F/A swipes his card and charges him for it. I fall asleep and have a nap. I wake up, and a child with a yamaka is counting coins sitting next to me with his mom in the aisle seat across. LOL, ok then. F/A comes up and tells the pax that these seats cost extra, and myself and the other man paid extra for them so it isn't fair to sit there. The mom goes off for the whole 3 minutes or so it takes for her to gather all her stuff and move in the whiniest Chicago Jewish accent I could ever imitate. "This is robbery, we paid over $100 to be on this damn airplane(my tickets were $99 ROUNDTRIP after tax SFO-ORD-SFO), I have every right to be here, you're not getting another penny from me you greedy heartless crooks, blah blah blah". Me, the F/A, and the other guy were dying.
Always a good time on Frontier.
