Alaskan calls recurrent "CQ" whatever the eff that means. They also say "southeast" and I keep thinking of Jacksonville but I guess they mean the skinny part of Alaska we took from western British Columbia.

All those letters come from AQP, which stands for “acronyms qualify pilots.”

The story I heard was back during the Stapleton days the Ticketing office was located there and had TK in the address. ¯\_( ˘͡ ˘̯)_/¯
