Nah, it's a well established societal phenomenon throughout the ages. That's why "Marxist" insurrections and the like are always prevalent in 3rd world countries.

It's always more fun to traipse around the countryside with a gun dressed like Rambo trying to impress girls than it is walking behind a water buffalo 12 hours a day or rotting in a slum.

What's going on in certain cities is only a slight variation on that theme.

There has been a long proving technique for a collective of people to band together to bargain with employers. That seems to have been forgotten and people just want to jump around and scream, shout and cause general mayhem.

I do wonder why in the face of amazon, Uber, etc there aren’t a lot more union drives going on.
 
Sitting with a guy relatively “in the know’ on the Amazon side, watching him have a beer because I was within my personal limits for layover beer consumption, Amazon is a lot further along than a lot of us realize.

I lived in the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations for 3 years. That place can burn in hell. Get my friends out of there, and burn it. Look up Buddy Cianci. Convicted felon. After he was sentenced, they did a poll and the majority would still elect him if he could run again.

That place sucks...no offence and bless their hearts.
