ALPA and medical reform

But you are not adequately explicating WHY not to.

Ooh! Blue Dwarf* gains a level! I learned something:

I have multiple times.

You and others just don't like the answer.
Obstreperous recalcitrance is not evidence.
Lighten up. Enlighten us. I can't dislike something I haven't seen. ;)

Personally, I think the dues money would be better spent with massive efforts on reassertion of "Captains Authority" and "Industry Restoration".

None of your dues money has been spent for this. It was a letter.

On the other hand, the scum at AOPA is spending my dues money trying to reduce safety, and they're getting an earful from me about it.

I wish AOPA would turn their focus to the economics of flying, and less pandering to the aging demographic that are those who can afford recreational aviation.

Hey, you know what! That's something I can get on board about.

However, the demographics that pay for AOPA are overwhelmingly much older than the average professional pilot demographic and thus of course AOPA is focused on sustaining its membership for the elderly that shouldn't be in an airplane anyway...cause you know...it brings in the money (AOPA's own membership figures).

We have elderly folks who can't drive a car without running over a fruit stand, yet they're gonna jump in the family 182 and end up in a house's roof?

Meh, come on.

So yeah, at least you can see why they are running this one to death.

Rather than, you know, encouraging their members to be healthy to meet a 3rd class medical certificate.

We don't have to. The burden of proof is on you.
Uh, yeah. Much easier to repeat yourself than to offer up something enlightening.
See my response to the second time you repeated your "burden of proof" argument in my reply to you in post [HASHTAG]#257[/HASHTAG]. You seem to have conveniently missed that one. What's your goal, to enlighten or to make yourself feel good?

Are you really against taking a layer of safer away from the system?
