I'm glad I'm Navy in that respect. They usually don't want to keep us

...in fact, the last 2 years we have had "early out" messages if you're within 3 months of EAOS at the beginning of the fiscal year.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but expecting the worst.

Well yes, I suppose one more night of duty is a bit less of a bag job than one extra year. Good point.
