Prediction: A thread about airshows will get locked after @Seggy and @ATN_Pilot hijack another discussion and airshows will continue to exist![]()
This thread took the heat off the cake drama pretty well, didn't it?

GULLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY!
(the universally accepted official Jetcareers exclamation when something just ain't right.)
This is hardly comparable to a 2% chance that someone is going to die at any given airshow due to an accident. You don't have even a 0.002% chance of dying from a basketball accident at a basketball game, let alone 2%. To try to make this comparison is absurd. You know better.
Come to Valdez. I'm sure there's cake.I want to see an Alaskan air show with the performers (with no medicals, mind you) serving cake to the crowd afterwards.

I SAID BANANA!Ban concerts!
Last I went to one, @Rocketman99 fell down then got lost and then @DPApilot got beaten.
I SAID BANANA!
Is that you and @Derg's safeword?
The majority of the world's population do not use airline travel, yet millions of them have been killed by the pollution spewed by airliners.Yes, because a necessary transportation infrastructure is equivalent to an aerobatics show that 99.999% of the country doesn't give a damn about.
And again, no one is suggesting to completely ban it. Just keep them away from populated areas. Not. That. Difficult.
