Airshows shouldn't exist

This is hardly comparable to a 2% chance that someone is going to die at any given airshow due to an accident. You don't have even a 0.002% chance of dying from a basketball accident at a basketball game, let alone 2%. To try to make this comparison is absurd. You know better.

It is far better than the millions of people killed by air carriers. The WHO estimate 7,000,000 people are killed by air pollution. Air carriers are responsible for at least 2% of these emissions, directly contributing to 140,000 deaths PER YEAR.

We should ban part 121 aviation before we ban airshows.

Yes, because a necessary transportation infrastructure is equivalent to an aerobatics show that 99.999% of the country doesn't give a damn about.

And again, no one is suggesting to completely ban it. Just keep them away from populated areas. Not. That. Difficult.

The majority of the world's population do not use airline travel, yet millions of them have been killed by the pollution spewed by airliners.

At least those people have a choice not to attend airshows. Though they may have preferred the short program of entertainment to the painful and miserable death from heart and lung diseases.

I think the answer is user fees. Perhaps if airlines were paying a per pound fee for their emissions, things would change. Think of the children! And [HASHTAG]#chemtrails[/HASHTAG].
