Airports with "international" designation?

absolutely. look at IAH, international is nowhere in the name. Instead they chose "intercontinental", which has nothing to do with the major carrier who happens to have a hub there, im sure.

Same with us, International but no customs (on call and usually never come out) and no commercial service. All in marketing plus they can get/give tax breaks and such by calling an airport intl. and zoning foreign trade zones.

It's supposed to be an airport which has certain services or has been desognated as an entry airport (see AIM P/CG) but, as it says in AC-150/5000-5c

Earth is the Eek (PAEE) of the interstellar community, and is intergalactically unheard of, we don't have the traffic for two runways.
