Airnet

Now, if I could only talk the wife into living in ArKansas...:D;)

What are ya'll replacing the 35's with, if you can say???

You remember Erika? The girl I was with at Friday's?

She's from Fayetteville - she can tell your wife all about that area. It's actually a pretty cool little town. I like it. We've talked about moving back there.

If I ever got a job.

Y'know. With you and maybe Zap up there...

<sigh>

Especially the Brasilia...what an ugly piece of crap...that thing won't get you anywhere......It's old and noisy...and the chicks don't dig the beta that much...why did the guy even fly that thing....he shoulda been in a shineeeee jet........:sarcasm:

Yeah what kind of geek would lower his standards to fly that thing! :D

BTW many of our FA's actually feel that way about the Brasilia. :) . . . but I'm pretty sure they DO dig the whole beta thing.

Haha, we'll see what the future holds. I'm starting my initial search for the next step (not that I ever stopped looking, but looking in earnest now to see what my options are. We'll see what the future holds...

If I do start leaning that way, I'll be giving you, and definitely Zap a call!!!

I hope your training is going good. I haven't been on here too much but I have been trying to keep up.

Ya, they're snobby until they climb in one of the planes that shakes and shimmies a little more than the others...........87.3% Np, and they'll never wanna fly the jet again :bandit:

The DC9 was a phenominal airplane. I absolutely loved flying it -- but I may have been biased because it was my favorite since I was a little boy.

Douglas knows how to make airplanes, I'm having a blast learning to fly the DC6 and now if I can just get my FO checkride I'll be in heaven. This is the third day of waiting for mx weather and other people so I can take it. I never imagined I'd be flying a 4 engine radial WW2 era transport aircraft ever in my career.

I'm former Airnet. Toughest flying I ever did. I had 1800 hours when I went to work there...but that's really where I learned how to fly!!! Wouldn't want to do it again, but glad I did it once. There were good guys flying there too.

Are you sure? We really need guys right now and you could do it part time. ;)

Seriously though - I met a Southwest Captain on a flight who said he used to work for Airnet. He just got this faraway look in his eye for a second, and said, "yup, that was some good flying."
