What are your thoughts on airlines handing out dough to their employees in the name of "passing it on" from their tax cut savings? American, Southwest, and Spirit had been announced and tonight we can add Alaska (and Virgin America) to that list.

I'm kind of surprised considering how tight the AS management is that they would do this, but seemed more like they conceded to jumping on the bandwagon than being a trend setter. We'll see how much it ends up being after tax and I hope it doesn't distract from the real issues that still need to be resolved here at AS/VX.
