I bet there will be some going away type things but i doubt they will be done by the school. If you think about it, they would have to do it for every one that leaves and I am hoping that will be a lot and on a regular basis.

on another note. what is the deal with Farmington. I keep hearing that they get hired by Mesa right after they get their multi commercial rating. And that the 0-hero time is like less then 2 years and just over 250hours total time.

I believe what you are referring to is the MAPD program. And basically what you stated is true. You do your flight training while attending San Juan college (correct me if im wrong) to obtain an AS degree. Once you complete the program you are given an interview...

Ask some folks in the Mesa Airlines/San Juan College forum. They would know much more about it. Things may have changed with the latest hiring trend, but I've heard of low hour pilots being hired contingent on them reaching a certain number of hours.
