I received my Dispatcher certificate back in August and am a flight coordinator for a large charter/managed aircraft company out of KPTK. I was actually hired the week before my dispatch class finished! During the last two days of my dispatch class, we had Flight Options interviewing candidates on site. Turns out they hired 3 or 4 out of 10 in the class. I am constantly seeing flight operations jobs for NetJets and Flight Options, etc. I think a lot of people only focus on 121 operations because they want flight benefits, but a lot of the 91 and 135 operations have great starting pay and some additional benefits. And at this moment in time, these companies are a lot stronger and more financially secure. It's definitely something to look into. Sure, in a 91 or 135 operation you might have to deal with catering or other requests but there are also a wide variety of airports and people that you get to deal with on a daily basis. I was able to get a ride in a G-III during a training flight on my first day, not too bad if you ask me. We also routinely send our G-IV's and V's over to Asia, Europe, and South America. It's great experience for International Operations. I loved having flight benefits when I worked as a ramper/gate agent but am definitely enjoying the great salary and variety of experience I am getting in the Corporate aviation world.
