Aircraft bucket list

F-16
T-38/F-5
PC-12
Stearman - Done!
Lear 25

I suppose I need to start flying again to make any of it happen.

Dude, yes! One time JordanD and I got to play around in WWII sims that used IL-2, and when we asked for the Buffalo the guys running it were like, "Wait, what? Why!?". Dunno if I have any chance at ever flying the beast, but we'll see.

I would love to take one to Midway and fly it there. Crazy to think they went to fight a Zero in one.

Two are my favorite, the F-8 Crusader and F4U Corsair.

After that, a Spitfire, P-51, Mig-19, etc.

Go fly that, scooter!

I haven't been flying long, but my short list
Extra 300L
P-51
Anything on Floats
PC-12
T-6
Waco
At some point I want to fly an L-39. There is a place near me at LVK that has one, but its way out of my price range.
Lear
Twin Otter

Beaver
P51
Lear anything, though I have a soft spot for the 35 after riding to my Airnet interview in one a few years ago.
MU2
FW190 (ok, that one is a little further out there in the likelihood realm)
Anything on floats
Anything on skis

FW190 should be right behind the Bearcat on my list, too. Oversight on my part. And it's not as far-fetched as you might think...

Those Germans! Is there anything they can't do? Well, ok, they're not exactly batting 1000 on "winning global conflagrations", I'll grant you, but not for lack of effort or kickass machinery...

Totally applicable to this discussion...

I lived in Allermagne for about six months when I was a snot-nosed, punkass American Teenager. I get it. The trains run on time, the lawns are clean, people drive small, efficient, quick cars in a sane and courteous manner. No one does anything stupid and infurating, ever. If you're a foreign kid lost on public transit, people will literally drop whatever they're doing and spend half an hour personally sheparding you to where you need to be.

Just don't be Turkish...
