Bell 47 or a Schweizer. I got a ride in a Bell 47 and got bit by the helicopter bug.... I really want to learn how to fly helicopters now.
$10K It hurts!I have an hour in a Schweizer - love it too. I would love my Helicopter add on, not sure how feasible it is though :-(

Waking up in the cockpit of a 747 on the arrival into Hong Kong or London with a wad of $100 bills in one pocket and a little black book filled with all the best eating / drinking establishments on the planet in another.
Or simply flying a Q-400 in some of the worst icing weather in the world. I'll take either...
I hear you. While there are several planes I really want to fly before I bite the dust, ultimately I want to fly as many aircraft types as I can. Right now its just the GA-8 Airvan, a V-tail Bonanza, and the 172. But once I'm getting paid to fly, I'm going to find excuses to hop in every random plane at the airport. The logic of "I just want to get to the airlines so I'm going to get 800 hours in a 172, 50 in a Seminole, then fly a CRJ and then a 737 for the rest of my life" is foreign to me. I thought pilots loved airplanes and flying, I don't understand anyone who flies professionally but has no desire to fly GA after they fly a shiny jet, I hope I never get like that.I don't really care what's on my list, as long as it keeps growing.
Sometimes I meet airline pilots who have flown a whopping three airplanes--172, Seminole, and CRJ, or something along those lines.
I think that's so sad.
It'd be fun to say I've logged time in say, 100 different makes/models by the time I lose my medical. Probably have 35 or 40 already!
Sounds very, very familiar to something I posted once. Creepy.Waking up in the cockpit of a 747 on the arrival into Hong Kong or London with a wad of $100 bills in one pocket and a little black book filled with all the best eating / drinking establishments on the planet in another.

L39. I will probably fly one before I die.
Come out to SAF, there's a school here that does nothing but Jetwarbird training.
