Aircraft bucket list

Lear 31 T/O thread got me to thinking...what's on yours? Only one rule...let's be at least marginally realistic. If you're a 65 year old 777 Captain, you're not going to fly an F-15. I know, I'd like to, also, but it ain't gonna happen. So within the bounds of "reason", have at it.

Me:

1) Mig 25 (Hey, it can happen, you just have to come up with $20k (or whatever it is now) Maybe when I'm hired at FedEx...oh wait that's not realistic)
2) Lear 23/24. RVSM is for suckers. So are step climbs. And "fuel economy".
3) Aerostar. Whichever has the biggest engines and the tiniest wing
4) Cheyenne 400. Running over VLJs left and right.
5) Mu-2...oh, wait. Ok, I'm 1/5. 20% ain't bad, right?

PS. Number 1/2...F8F. It strains the bounds of realistic, but hey, I could win the Lottery! If I played...

Meh, I have been realistic all of my life.....these are my fantasy rides. A boy at heart can still dream.

C195
Stearman
AT6
A1D
DC3
Cheyenne 400LS

Fantasy Rides that'll never happen:
Boeing 314
Lear 23
Do-X

It wasn't on my bucket list but I got to fly a t-28 a month ago, that was awesome.

My list
-V tail bonanza (can't explain why)
-Lear 20
-Citation X
-J3 Cub
-Something with 3 engines

Beautiful Aircraft, ALA, but NOT REALISTIC. Can I not be Dictator of my Own Thread!? Now, go write "I'm never going to fly the Pan Am Clipper to Shanghai" on the chalkboard 100 times, then go sit in the corner and THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU'VE DONE. :D

ROTFL!!!! Does this mean Buenos Aires is off the table now too??? Dream Killer!!!!!

You'll love it. You'd BETTER!

Ah, me too. The Douglassaurus should be on my list somewhere, too. I will advise you never to try to load one, though. At least get in the cockpit...it has more in common with a Soviet-era locomotive than with a Boeing. Winning!

I've always loved the MU2, the stars just haven't lined up for me yet.

Ever since I first saw an ATI DC8 departing BWI I've wanted to get my hands on one. Few airplanes left out there that leave such awesome exhaust trails.

P-51D - I'm still fairly young so who knows what could happen.
Gulfstream 650 - It's a jjjjeeetttt!! :)
Boeing 757
MU 2 would be fun too.

Well I'm sure the volumes I've typed on the subject are sufficient. I'd just say that if you uh "accidentally" let it get to 300 in the descent, don't worry. Solid as the day is long, that one.

Yeah, I've had an Airplane Nerd Boner for the Diesel8 for decades. I fear we're running out of time, though, unless we want to be flying a bunch of "fell off the back of the truck" crates of AKs from one tin-pot dictatorship to another. Wait. You know, that doesn't sound so bad...

I'm not above any "interesting opportunities" that might cross my path . . . :)
