Airbus Problem

First landing. 2,000' down the (long) runway, still at 5-10'. CA looks over at me n asks "Want me to ask for lower?" .
I said that once to this dick captain I flew with back at the old place. One of those great pilots that no one else can stand because he knows more and flies better. I'll never forget the parking checklist when it says debrief items. He read me the riot act for insulting his landings.

I had that happen once. Guy ripped me up in front of the back end crew for a firm landing on a ferry flight (an empty 767 lands like a safe). Completely uncalled for.

So, when he missed the touchdown zone on the next landing, I casually mentioned it to him after shutdown. His face going a bright shade of red was a good payback.

Don't talk smack unless your junk is 100% in order, all the time, always. :)

No Airbus experience here, but I couldn't believe the difference when big winglets were put on my Boeing.

"Well, the book said to put it in the touchdown zone, but it doesn't say which one." :p

Your plane also is of the flying wires design era
