Amentum Kuwait, Al Kuwayt:<BR /><p>Description: The designee is responsible for the overall daily safe and expeditious flow of air traffic within the facility-controlled airspace in accordance with ICAO and FAA 7110.65 regulatory guidance. Rules of separation must be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. </p><p>This designee maintains situational awareness of the overall flow of air traffic operations at the facility assigned and is responsible for all ATC facility operations and services during their shift. </p><p><br>Various rules of separation may be applied to achieve the required separation as outlined in FAA manuals and orders. The designee coordinates with various controllers and personnel to relay information which pertains to the aircraft and in the interest of safety of flight including emergency information. The designee will be familiar with radar or control tower operations and apply the required separation of aircraft. The individual is responsible for vehicles and personnel operating on the airfield. Along with controlling aircraft the designee must be able to process flight plans, develop and supervise approach and departure procedures. The designee will have a full working knowledge of RADAR/Manual approach control operations, control tower and flight planning. </p><p></p><p>Education: Graduate of an approved DoD or FAA ATC course. </p><p></p><p>Experience: Five (5) years of experience, One (1) year of experience must be from performing in a like type facility. Knowledge of ATC rules, regulations, and techniques; control tower and approach control operations. Shall hold an FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) certificate or FAA Credential with Tower rating. </p><p></p><p>*Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance</p><p></p><p> </p><p>Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
