Aha! (ExpressJet) ceases operation

Very little. But when it picked up briefly in 2007 and then again in 2010, lots of those guys remained marked.

I’m not buying it. It was simply a product of a lack of hiring in any decent numbers at the major pax carriers. 2007 hiring “spree” was quickly shot down by 2008. And 2010 was literally sprinkles. I think Delta hired 300 that year. It wasn’t really until 2013-2014 that the hiring took off at the big 3.

I’ve flown with a Freedom A lister. They made it just fine.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say here. Is this a weak "stay in your lane" comment, or just a comment?

Relax Ethan, it’s just an interesting observation on how far things have come for people since that time, those that are still here. Vice where they were then. The discussion of old school JC, made me think of many of the originals that we don’t see anymore and haven’t for quite some time.

I remember the Go-Jet thing...Sure it's history at this point, but I remember at the time it was a sore topic and I was sympathetic to the TransStaters. If I was flying with a guy today who told me he was GoJet from that era, great....I'm sure he "made it" (and that's all that we care about right?). You're still a jag-off for doing it though.

Meh. As long as you don’t cross a picket line and scab (the real scab, not what some JC thinks is a scab), then I think it’s within fair game. Freedom A list sucked. The reality is someone was gonna do it, one way or the other. Your Hulas and Ornsteins of the regional world were despicable. Get in, get your time, get out. Pose with Mission Accomplished banner.

I will never forget the fistfight that broke out in the G-gate crew room in IAD (remember that greyhound style mess?) between a GoJets CA and a TStates CA. My first thought... "and I thought we were the redheaded stepchildren"

An awful lot of Freedom A guys ended their careers working at Connie, Evergreen and ATI because they couldn't get hired at a passenger carrier.
that is a bunch of horse•, not that I approve or support, but I could give you names that are at dl and didn't get stuck at HAL
