Yesterday, ADF Jumpseat Coordinator Phil Brooks shared monumental news with attendees: FedEx has expanded jumpseat privileges for offline aircraft dispatchers, giving eligible dispatchers access to cockpit jumpseats under the same eligibility standards applied to offline flight crewmembers. The expanded access applies across the FedEx fleet for travel within the domestic United States, Puerto Rico, and Guam.
The change comes following coordination among FedEx Flight Operations, Security, and Jumpseat Administration to better align the carrier’s procedures with the reciprocal jumpseat agreements it maintains with other airlines.
Also- dispatcher jumpseaters now have access to First class on United. Not just economy.
Next year's summit will be held in DFW.
