Accident aircraft return to service

Unlike most of the people on this forum, I don't know every crash that ever happened, or every N number associated with them, and I have no idea if I have ever been on a plane that had an accident with fatalities associated with it. I suspect most of the general public is in the same boat. They have no idea

Don't usually believe in that stuff, but I read the reports, almost all from crew members, and for some reason I don't doubt it.

When I read MikeD's link I also noticed that most of the reports came from crew members and that made me more skeptical. The people giving these reports are not impartial. I can see people who are scared and grieving being caught up in a sort of mass histeria. The mind is powerful and very creative, I don't doubt these people believe they saw what they did.

Like TheShortOne pointed out, people ride on planes with out a clue about where it's been and how many people have died on it. I'll take notice when more of these people start to report disembodied heads in microwaves talking to them and they can ID them from a lineup.

Great point.
