Looks like its in the middle of nowhere Ohio, but is equidistant from CVG/CMH/DAY areas, do people tend to live in those cities and commute?Good place to work.
The top out isn't a firm number. The bigger issue is that there isn't a pay schedule. Raises vary from year to year, so who knows when you'll get to that 81k or higher. What is there top out pay?
Seems like it’s a secret lol, Can’t be 81k lol
When I was there we were told pay can be up into the 6 figures however when we asked the guy that had been there for 20+ years he said he wasn't making that. That was for ATI but for the most part the pay is pretty equal between the airlines. Pay increases every year we're between 3-5% based on performance so if given a starting pay you could figure out what you'll be making each year though I'm sure they'll cap you at some point.I dont believe they have a true payscale as they are non-union. My guess is salary range is estimated based on longest tenured?
Quarterly and annual bonuses aren't usually factored into the annual by people. When I was there we were told pay can be up into the 6 figures however when we asked the guy that had been there for 20+ years he said he wasn't making that. It's been a few years since I was there but from what I recall we maybe got like 1-2.5k in a yearly bonus. Then again I think the airline was doing better at the time. Other than yearly pay increase though in the few years I was there we only had 1 time where we received a substantial pay increase to bring us in line with similar airlines.Quarterly and annual bonuses aren't usually factored into the annual by people.
But it IS a part of the compensation.
That being said, a family of 4 needs to bring in around $150k annually in this area of the world to buy a home.
how about medical too?well company seems pretty good based upon what im reading. anyone have other info like 401k matching, any ZED bennies, CASS, any relocation assistance?
Medical was decent, not great. Was through United healthcare when I was there. We did not have Zed benefits at the time but we were in cass after you got done with class training. 401k I don't remember, off the top of my head I think it was like a 50% company match of 5% but I could be very wrong. I didnt get relocation but I don't think it's unheard of and you can probably negotiate something if you get a job offer.how about medical too?
dayton and Mason area is about a 30-45 minute drive from ILN. It’s commutable.Looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere Ohio, but is equidistant from CVG/CMH/DAY areas, do people tend to live in those cities and commute?
CASS yes, 401K match is like 5%. I do not think there is relocation assistancewell company seems pretty good based upon what im reading. anyone have other info like 401k matching, any ZED bennies, CASS, any relocation assistance?
What about snow? Thats my biggest worry I’m from Western Illinois and we would get some snow storms that made it functionally/reasonably impossible to take travel out of town. Not too much interesting in Wilmington (aside from the airport) but plenty of stuff to do within a 45 min drive.
Commuting in winter isn’t too bad but it will depend on where you are coming from. My commute didn’t include a lot of traffic really ever.
