All that changed when PIT OCC shut down. The new guy running the scheduling department hates labor and stands there in Crew News sessions with his smug grin, just dreaming about how he can make our lives miserable.
I could live with going backwards in time operationally. Just something to learn to live with and hope it would change as the merger progressed.
PIT OCC shutting down... the day US Airways really died.
This weekend just hammered home how bad things are down in Mecca.
Legal last leg swap denied for an FA because the scheduler didn't know how to work CatCrew...
Reserve pilots with 6 hours of availability the day we restart operations not notified they were working, and the resulting 30 minute fight just to get changed from deadheading to operating...
Arriving in the outstation and was never informed the FAs didn't make their deadhead out of LGA...
I think this past weekend just showed us the tip of the iceberg on how JC truly plans on running crew scheduling.
