I believe this is the last USAirways class ever. All future hires will be the New American.

Isn't that based on a coming to a joint contract and manpower on either sides?

They will have a joint contract before the need to hire comes up. It's single operating certificate so you just have to train on a few planes. They know how many are not coming to dfw and they have hired for it.

So essentially there's a hiring freeze until a joint contract is completed? Let's hope you're right about the numbers.
