The reverse levers are separate from the standard thrust levers. You'd have to spool down the reverse, push the reverse levers down, allow the reverser itself to stow, then spool the engines up again using the normal thrust levers. Maybe there's a cool trick I haven't learned that some of these experienced guys can share, though.

I wonder what the spool time from reverse deployment on a 757/767 would be... I figure if you were at max reverse the engine should be pretty decently spooled already. If not, attempting a T&G might make the next 30 seconds some of the longest in your life.
