If only the scarf and goggles were part of the uniform...UNGH. Not a fan of the uniform leather jacket.
At that point, let's just "Dad Out" and issue northface windbreakers.
Thank you @ATN_Pilot and @ClarkGriswold for blowing up my spot. Yes, certain pieces of my uniform are not from M&H. I do not use Tarpy Tailor but I know plenty of United and American guys who do. If you find yourself in LAX and are in need of a good fitting uniform for a reasonable price they are your spot.
Yuuuuuuuuuuup.@amorris311 does that. I think he has a guy out on the left coast who does it.
The gum on his leg does though.Polyester doesn't touch @amorris311 skin.
You show hot wheels that one yet?The gum on his leg does though.
Please. I don't talk to lower 190 scum like him anymore. You show hot wheels that one yet?

If you are going to go leather, man up and go full airmail.
Just a random thought after interwebbing vintage uniform pics.
People probably didn't smell all that great in those pre-air-conditioned, pre-deodorant, and relatively overdressed times, especially after bouncing around in a DC-3 in the summer. Those old 1940s terminals were probably especially fragrant.
That will, thankfully, remain a mystery, or at least until the introduction of Google Smell(tm).

I have often thought of the same thing. When looking at old photos, or watching a historical movie the one thing we never think about is smell.
It's like when I started watching Mad Men and realizing how much people smoked back then. It was everywhere: buildings, homes, offices, etc...it occurred to me for the first time how aweful the world must have smelled back in those days.
People's homes and offices probably smelled like an ashtray around the clock.
