AA (and Eagle) Uniforms

Once it's in the media I will.,

Looks like most of the comments they are getting is negative for all the different styles. Not really a lot of change to the pilots from what I can see. The F/A's though are flipping their lids reading the feedback.

I can only imagine, it's made for a certain figure. One told me today "I'm a "curvy" girl I need "curvy" cloths". Uhh...

You should see the NY Captain Rep here at Envoy. It's going to take half a tub of butter and a large dose of will power for him to squeeze into any of those uniforms. I feel sorry for the buttons on his double breasted blazer all ready.

I gots me a feeling where this here thread is gonna go within the next 2 pages...but I ain't telling...

You boys have fun :)

No pantsuit or slacks with cathair sweater option? THere's going to be a lawsuit from about 80% of the flight attendant seniority list.
One of the exes is responsible, at least partially, for this design. The lack of these options does not surprise me one bit, consequently.

They look good. A tad bit more modern than uniforms that went out of style in the 80s. It excites me to see uniforms finally starting to update...even if slowly.

Random thought. I would really like to see some sort of consolidation with FA uniforms. Do you wear the pant suit, with white shirt or grey shirt, the skirt, the one piece dress, etc. Just too many options, for us at least, and I feel like our flight attendants never look uniform. It kind of bugs me.

This is the leather jacket everyone is talking about. It wasn't in the article above.

This version of the leather jacket looks trashy, like it's an off the rack jacket, not a uniform jacket. They're showing all the models with hats on, but if the hats do remain optional, that jacket will make the pilot nearly non-identifiable.

That all being said, I'm a fan of the refresh. Hopefully they either keep the legacy AA wing/hat badge style or come up with something as classy. It looks like the wings on the jacket in these pictures are generic Eastern style wings with no logo.

That's a bad thing?

Well it seems strange and a waste of resources to me to spend all this money on making your employees look different to then give them a piece of outerwear that makes them invisible and covers up your work.

Now, the benefit of reduced terminal "What time does the 2:55 flight to Des Moines leave?" questions could be an unforeseen plus....
