I hope that's just some ill advised sarcasm.

I always hated that saying. "died doing what he loved".I hope that's just some ill advised sarcasm.
Really? Who in their right mind wants to die at work, wants to die without their loved ones near them, wants to die before they live long enough to see their children grow up, or even before they can enjoy their retirement? Ummmmm.......... that would be NO ONE!Well he died doing what he loved, I think there's some positive there.
RIP
At least he died doing what he loved.
Really I just wanted my wife to hold my head and tell me everything would be OK.
Not me.................I want one last kiss, one last hug, one last hand holding, one last smile and one last 'I love you'.I just don't get it?
I hope my death is private, very private.
You would be surprised. Buddy at my airline flew with one eye. He was the FO on a DC-10 when his captain passed away in the lav.Never knew you could go through bypass surgery and get a class1. At any rate, I am sure he must have had to jump through many hoops and monitoring to keep it.
Condolences if anyone here knew him.
I don't understand debating on what someone else loves to do? What if he did love what he was doing at that moment?Probably a different thread is needed, but after doing this for more than three decades, I guess I am a bit jaded, it is more a job (sometimes a neat one, sometimes not so much) than something I "love". I love my family and home life, job? Meh, It's OK, but love would be a bit strong as far as I am concerned. And I certainly don't want to die there.
Initials JW by any chance? You would be surprised. Buddy at my airline flew with one eye. He was the FO on a DC-10 when his captain passed away in the lav.
My mom seriously asked me :Well he was already dead, why couldn't they just continue on to the destination?:Has anybody heard anything about this? Saw it on Facebook and can't find any other sources. If true, RIP to the pilot.
