Yea, I noticed that too. At first I thought if was just a mock-up until they could put actual buttons on that display, but at second thought I realized it was the real thing! Pretty neat.

Yall sure that's not just a mock up? IF it's gonna be that small, why waste all that room? Just make the overheard smaller. Just my opinion, but I'd rather have real swithes than the touch screen. Doesn't it help having dials you can rotate, and buttons you can push in the night? Not having to look up or around for it, just reach up, feel, and go.

What is the JAA position on Airbus type ratings? Right now it is the same type rating for everything from the A318 to the A380 (except for the A300 of course), big difference in the way the aircraft handle. With the FAA, difference type ratings for the 737, 747, 757/767, 777.
