A350 rollout!

Who designed the nose section, Ilyushin?

At this pace, it will hit the 1 year airworthy mark before the 787 does.
Reminds me of the Sukhoi SuperJet

With the new nose design I hope the cockpit is as quiet as the other 'Buses'...they have had that over previous Boeings. A friend will be doing some of the test flying of the 350. Says all that is needed is the installation of the test equipment and they can begin flying. He has already done extensive testing of the engine mounted on the A380 testbed aircraft.

I'd fly the ass out of that thing.

The airplane, perverts!

But of course I'm trying to get on the A-330

I see joysticks on that flight deck! The pilots haven't been completely removed from the feedback loop just yet! I'm sure the A360 will remove that design flaw though.

The Airbus is made in a country where unions and workers have more power then the govt, doubt they would do that to pilots...

Is it just me or should the first variation of a new airplane be a -100 not a -900?

Well for now it looks like they only plan on three variants an -800, -900, and -1000. With the -800 being the smallest of the three. As for why they started out with the -900, I believe it is because that variant has the most orders to date.
