Remuneration and benefit package:
All remuneration is paid after taxes have been paid in China. Before tax remuneration is presented to make it easier to compare remuneration levels with before tax home remuneration. China taxation treaties prevent double taxation.
For Option 1, China residency
  • An all in package equivalent to than 454,500 US$ before tax per year. Before tax remuneration is based on after tax package of 290,000 US$ per year at a Chinese taxation rate of 36.2 %. Higher home taxation rate would increase the home before tax remuneration level. The net of tax package encompasses the following:
    • A monthly remuneration package, including allowance and bonuses, averaging 24,167 US$ net of taxes as follows:
    • 19,000 US$ base remuneration for the first three year term;
    • Overtime pay of 300 US$ per hour above 80 hours per month;
    • 16,000 US$ yearly loyalty bonus paid every 12 months for the first three year term;
    • 17,000 US$ yearly loyalty bonus paid every 12 months for the second three year term;
    • 6,000 US$ yearly safety bonus paid every 12 months;
    • A living allowance of 2,500 US$ per month;
    • A travel allowance of 10,000 US$ per year;
    • ID travel privileges as per Airline rules;
    • Up to 45 days of paid leave per year;
    • Candidate support services at screening, induction and throughout the period of service.
For Option 2, 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotations
  • An all in package equivalent to 431,600 US$ before tax per year. Before tax remuneration is based on after tax package of 278,000 US$ per year at a Chinese taxation rate of 36.2 %. Higher home taxation rate would increase the home before tax remuneration level. The net of tax package encompasses the following:

For Option 3, 6 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotations
  • An all in package equivalent to 360,800 US$ before tax per year. Before tax remuneration is based on after tax package of 232,400 US$ per year at a Chinese taxation rate of 35.6 %. Higher home taxation rate would increase the home before tax remuneration level. The net of tax package encompasses the following:
    • A monthly remuneration package, including allowance and bonuses, averaging 19,360 US$ net of taxes as follows:
    • 16,000 US$ base remuneration for the first three year term;
    • Overtime pay of 200 US$ per hour above 80 hours per month;
    • 13,000 US$ yearly loyalty bonus paid every 12 months for the first three year term;
