Piedmont just joined Envoy and PSA in raising boosting first-year pilot pay to $58,800:
A third American Airlines regional carrier increases pilot pay
A third American Airlines regional carrier increases pilot pay
I'm pretty sure SkyWest is the only one with domiciles on Northern CA...SFO and FAT. I'm not sure if they still have SLO...Are any "high paying" regional airlines based or have crew bases in Northern California?

No more SLO
I had the honor of flying with the former Chief Pilot, SBP quite a few times once they closed the base, and he went to the 175.
I thought flying the 120 was the best job I'd had in professional aviation (although being a Captain on anything is certainly a close second), and judging from how fun the flying was with aforementioned former Chief Pilot SBP, the only way it could have gotten any better would have been being SLO-based.
So basically the same as a second or third year captain, and then right back down to 36k until upgrade? Roughly based off numbers from airlinepilotcentral.
Still, a lot no thanks.

You're forgetting the $10,000 /year retention bonuses after year 1, 5% profit sharing, and super quick upgrade Piedmont offers right now. The AAG WOs are all pretty attractive to new hires right now.
We have more fun lolSeriously. You guys just fly props.
Props are for boats.
