A proposed sick-out?

I'm still new but I enjoy bro overnights a lot!

I'm sad for Chico :( soon MRY and SBA will go too I fear.

I'll miss you brosif #neverletgo
Every hour I've spent in this airplane has been great. Not sure if I'm going to get out on the next bid (ER7), but we'll find out.

Well my roommate just got it in ORD. He leaves in October I think?

I think it'll be fun in a different way. But as long as you keep the bro spirit alive, good times will be had

I unfortunately don't know if I'm going to get awarded the airplane at all, but I have a hunch that I will. (I'm preparing myself for disappointment when the award comes out, though.)

Irony, guess who legit had to call in this weekend.......

Not part of some BS sick out, either. A legit call in. And, no, @PhilosopherPilot, it wasn't just to get the days off. :)
Me too, pisses me off. I even made my commute before calling in. Felt like utter dog crap, still feeling it.

First time I've called in, I have a dr note but hate that it had to be this weekend. I'm thinking of getting a second note from my general practitioner or ENT in case they ask anything.

I thought my head was going to pop during my commute.

Feel better soon!

Off topic: Are you bidding to the 320 in this next bid? I seem to remember you saying no. As someone senior to me, I feel it's in your best interest to go. ;)

Yeah. I figure I'm on reserve one way or the other. Might as well take the extra $$$. I can ALMOST hold a bad line on the 190 in MCO, but I'd rather have reserve and fly 5 days a month for 75 hours of credit than have a line and fly 16 days a month for 77 hours of credit. The question is will I be able to hold MCO A320 with the international flying all shifting down to FLL. I'm sure as hell not commuting just to fly the Airbus.

As soon as I made the call, I fired off an e-mail to the CP's office as a "Look, this is 100% legit, I'm not doing this just to get the holiday off and if you need more info PLEASE call me." That was two days ago. I'll likely not hear a thing about it, but it's a CYA that made me feel better. The union diehards would probably crucify me for saying anything, but seeing as we don't have any kind of real C3 committee or leg to stand on yet, I figure it's better to make first contact than get called in and have to try to track down one of interim reps we have for a meeting.
