A nice, stable approach

TPA or TIA as the locals call it, has some great filming spots and thanks to the free parking (don't take that away). Anyone can spend a hour planespotting.

I really wish more US airports would do that.

I remember going to one in AMS where a pretty awesome food truck showed up. You could really do some cool stuff with it if they wanted.
 
Yes about the train you are on, did you reach out to your union's travel committee and ask them about taking trains? Did the company ask you or did you ask to take the train? Remember if you lean to far forward you might fall over.
I asked. They had the required commercial to fra followed by a car. This takes less time door to door and is much more pleasant and IMO far less dangerous.
I'm not sure they would be smart enough to connect cities with anything but sleepy drivers or airplanes.
