A good trend

I fly the MRA Caravan out of DRT, and I hope this isn't true. Theres been an AMF 99 on this route for about a month backing me up but 80% of the time he goes empty.

Welp it is true. On the plus side I'll just be SAT standby now for the forseeable future (IE peak) and after that either SAT standby or going to DFW.

Also on the plus side the guy flying the 1900 for AMF is a nice guy, initials M.P. -- he flew the 99 backing me up at DRT for about 3 weeks. Was he infected with Del Rio-itis and now can't stay away? :p

Getting bumped out of DRT isn't exactly a disaster.

Hopefully the midnight DFW sort will come back soon.

About the only good thing about DRT is the short hop across to Acuna. Me and a bunch of co-workers would hop across for dental work and copious amounts of antibiotics, cheap cigarettes, etc.

I'm not sure if it is even legal, but one of the bosses I worked for (he was like 70) would buy large quantities of Viagra and smuggle them back over for the 'professional' women that came out to the ranch. Regarding legality, I was of course, referring to the first part and by 'professional' I mean fully licensed, expert flute players.

Crazy times, rich people are nuts!
