20V, the same aircraft that had an engine failure after take off in Vero. That was a different problem however; the gascolater was allowing air into the fuel lines creating power surges.
bLizZuE, glad nothing bad happened. What was the student's reaction? BTW, I guess that's why FSA makes us know about the Piper External Power Source in the a/c written. So some dumbass doesn't hand prop a cadet/arrow and have the same result.

This incident was the fourth time this exact scenario has happened to me. Power loss shortly after take off in our Cherokees. The students always react the same.
I call for the controls, they let go, a little shocked. The first thing they all have asked 'Did I do something wrong?'
Nope! You did everything right. Just sit back, and be quiet
