I started the 90 day program at GKY this Monday and thought I'd post my day to day progress.

Day1: AM show time at ATP. Check in meet my instructor and the other 90 dayer (nice guy) and start the stack of paperwork they make you fill out. After the paperwork, scanning of logbook, PPL ticket, passport and signing over my first born (paying for the course myself and not the dreaded SLM) we got to take a 50 question quiz over PPL knowledge items that wasn't bad. You review the test after and discuss any that you missed.

After the quiz, our instructor gave us another ATP supplement and checklists for the 2000 Seminole that didn't come in our Box-o-Books.
From there we went over the first 16 pages of the ATP Piper Seminole supplement in detail. You get lunch and beaks, but thats to be understood, so I'll leave those out from now on.

Lots to digest and memorize!

Day 2

Today we started off by going over last nights homework (There are daily quizzes you have to do to help reinforce your knowledge). Did well. I then did some flash card work with the Vspeeds since I didn't have them all memorized yet. :banghead:

We then went over the checklists and maneuvers for the Private Multi add on. Vmc, steep turns, power on and off stalls, etc. We then get into the sim (FRASCA) to go over the the maneuverer's, checklists, etc.

2.0 hrs sim time down
