Here's a question. Since they're so anal about "They're THRUST levers" all throughout training, why in hell do we have autoTHROTTLES?
We had a mind numbing lecture about EEC's and then during my oral, he asked, "Well, if you completely lose the EEC on a 757 with Pratt's, why are you having a bad day"? and that was it. I was prepared to dicuss "mode switches", "power switches", "on/off switches" etc.
That and the non-FADEC EEC question on the 767 "small GE".
