5 minute clearance void time

An hour seems pretty excessive, but I remember waiting a good half hour in and out of Harrison, AR a few times. No radar coverage, so if you come in from the north and need the ILS, you have to cross the VOR, do a full procedure, etc. And inevitably it was some guy in a Kingair who did the whole thing at 100 knots and forgot to cancel, so you wind up making the "yes, I see the aircraft, it's on the ground" call to center.
 
I've had the 5 minutes void deal various times out of many different uncontrolled fields. Just be ready to go when you call for your clearance and everything works out fine.
 
Nashville gives me a 4 or 5 minute void time 5 days a week taking off from a uncontrolled airport at night with no traffic around
