I was just thinking the same thing, you know @ZapBrannigan we have a new hotel in Portland? It’s really nice and there is a whole bunch of cool stuff around including the best bookstore in the USA.

Yeah that actually has become my layover activity in PDX....I'm constantly bringing 3-4 big books home every time. It is a shame that they closed their "technical" bookstore annex a number of years ago. Was a couple blocks east down burnside IIRC, great place, tons of cool stuff. Though I guess that collection probably just got rolled back into the main store.
