Eh, it's not bad. Not bad traffic, skydiving, 3 airports, good rockclimbing, rivers and lakes just a few hours drive away...and it doesn't rain here much, and I don't like the rain.:)

Wow...checked out the home page. I think people would get hurt there for talking bad about Bush! When he comes home to Midland does the f-in city shut down???

Pretty close...I swear this is the most conservative city in the world I think. My own grandma thought of disowning me after I didn't vote for him in the 04' election.lol. j/k. Where did you get the idea people would be violent if you didn't like Bush?

After going to Tuscon and hearing, "Did you know we're living in a police state man? Cuz we are, and they're taking away our civil liberties!" by bums on the street and cashiers in the stores, I decided that I didn't like ultra liberalism anymore than I like ultra conservatism. They both suck IMO...

Not racist, maybe a little...oh nevermind.:)

I grew up thinking Midland sucks, and most kids in high school will say the same thing, but like I said, we have quite a bit more stuff here than you notice on first glance. Several strip clubs.

Someone once told me something I liked a lot, "If you think Midland is boring, it's probably because you're a boring person."

Haha, true... But I'm mexican and he's talking about Texas... C'MON!!! FOR THE MOST PART: Cubans stick to FL, Puerto Ricans like NY, and Mexicans roam around Texas and California.... with that said, feel free to call me prejudice, hahaha

*My lil' anecdote*
When I flew into NY, I met a few hispanics at the FBO out there, but none were Mexican. They were all from PR or Dominican Republic. They spoke real fast spanish, so I couldn't understand them.


MIDLAND AND TUCSON BOTH SUCK!

I had an emergency landing at midland and was stuck there for a few hours. It was boring!!!
I worked at Tucson for a while as a ground instructor at Ryan field... it, too, is boring!!!

I'm from LA, but now I'm stuck in Bakersfield (very similar to Tucson) and it sucks!

That Harvey Danger lyrics "You're only bored if you're boring" holds some validity, but still... c'mon!.. it's a boring town, haha
