whats your motive here? are you thinking if you have heavy jet experience + etops that you are going to look more attractive to a major? I don't think it really matters to them one way or another. especially looking at the hiring trends at the majors lately. honestly. dispatching a widebody or a crj, doesn't make any difference to me, same stuff, bigger numbers. it all depends on what you want to get out of it. i mean honestly fedex or ups sure, knock yourself out. but i wouldnt be leaving to places like atlas, southern, etc thinking they're gonna be your ticket into a major.Hi all,
I'm looking for an opportunity outside of regional commuter airlines. I'll miss the travel benefits, but I kind of want to do some heavy jet dispatching. Anyone got any contacts, or know of any airlines hiring where I might get some ETOPS experience?
Thanks.
My motivation, I don't really have one. Not thinking particularly long term. Would just like to do some heavy jet dispatching. Before the Atlas/Southern merger I would have recommended joining one of them. My opinion the next best thing is National or Omni Air.Hi all,

I'm curious why Kalitta calls their dispatchers "Flight Followers". It appears a lot of their business is scheduled 121 service? Flight following to me means no operational control, no fam rides, etc.Kalitta just hired 2, might get 2 more
they will start 767 - ETOPS Ops this summer
